Organisations
Beginners' Sunday School
The Beginners' Department is for pre-school children and introduces them to
Bible stories through games and activities.
The Rock Club
The Rock Club is designed for Primary School Children and uses discussion and
craft work to examine Christian beliefs.
Both Departments meet each Sunday in the Church Halls at 11.00 a.m.
New Communicants' Group
Anyone interested in becoming a member of the Church of Scotland can join our
New Communicants' Group. The Group meets for six weeks and discusses the meaning
of membership. It takes place in the weeks leading up to Easter. Anyone interested
in joining this group should contact the Minister.
The Guild
The Guild is open to all adults and has a wide variety of speakers and activities.
It meets fortnightly on a Monday from October to May of each year. A complete
syllabus can be found on the notice board at the back of the Church.
The Choir
The Choir leads our singing on a Sunday and is always pleased to accept new
members. Details can be obtained from the Session Clerk.
Christian Awareness Group
The Christian Awareness Group aims to encourage debate about important moral
issues. They organise monthly meetings with a wide range of speakers and topics.
It meets on the third Sunday of each month (Sept. to May) at 7.30 pm and all
are welcome. Coffee and tea are served from 7.00 pm.
Girl Guides
Although not an official Church Organisation, Guides, Brownies and Rainbow packs
are associated with the church. Details can be obtained from the District Contact:

Boys' Brigade
The various sections of the Boys' Brigade encourage Boys to adopt a Christian
way of life by means of a wide range of activities and badge work.
Company Section
This section is for boys who are in Primary 7 and upwards and it meets on Thursdays from 8.00-9.00pm in the School Hall. (across the road from the church)
Junior Section
This group is for boys in Primary 4 to 6 and meets on a Thursday from 7.00 - 8.00pm in the School Hall.
Anchor Boys
This section is for boys aged 6 to 8 years old and meets on a Thursday from 6.00 - 7.00 pm in the School Hall.
